Software Limitations

Describe two types of software packages which can be used to create and edit graphics?

Photoshop –

Photoshop can create and edit graphics in so many ways it is a great program and it is very brief in terms of the tools that you can use. on Photoshop you can also use a lot of tools including, brush, pencil, the oval tool, crop, resize, undo, redo, import, export photos etc. these tools are dependant when you use this program as they are key functions.

Opening a photo to edit or manipulate -

This is an example of me opening a photo onto Adobe Photoshop, you click file, then open.

then up should come up your documents where you would search through and find the appropriate photo so you can insert it into photoshop so you can edit it.

You then click open on the file you want and it should appear in Photoshop.

Crop Tool -

Here is a picture of Van Persie not cropped

I am now going to crop this photo of him on photoshop.

Here is the cropped photo of Van Persie

Undo Tool -

Here is an example of the undo tool where i will then click the undo button and the photo of him should go back to its previous state.

and here it is the photo back to its original shape and size.

Brush Tool -

the brush tool is great for using on photos you are editing yourself here is an example of me using a brush.

here is a photo of Van Persie with a green face and badge as i coloured over this with a brush.

Macromedia Fireworks –

Macromedia Fireworks is a really good software program for editing graphics as well I have had a lot of experience with it and I still haven’t gone through all the effects. there is a lot of effects on this program ranging from black and white, to 3D, also there would be really colourful effects aswell.
